W/N Armor Question
If I'm a Sword Warrior with Blood Magic, what Armor should I probably use?
Oh, until I get 100 Blades, here's build I'll run:
1: Sever Artery (Mainly just to set up for Gash to do -20% max hp)
2: Gash (only to make thing easier to kill)
3: Galrath Slash (to hopefully bring foe to -50% max hp to buff Final Thrust)
4: Final Thrust (for INSANE damage out of Galrath Slash)
5: Vampiric Touch (the 15 energy cost is heavy, so I'm using it in the single-target damage spike with Final Thrust)
6: Seeking Blade (or, when I get it, Life Transfer/100 Blades {E}, basically to make Gash easier to land or as a small finisher)
7: Blood Renewal (to maintain health gain, and so that if my health is STILL going down after using it, for enormous spike of healing at the end)
8: Demonic Flesh (for higher max hp, because higher max hp=harder to kill me)
Was thinking that basic plate armor would work, maybe full plate with a Minor Swordsmanship Rune, a Minor Strength Rune, a Superior Absorbtion Rune, and a Superior Vigor Rune (once I can get the Absorbtion rune and the Vigor...until then, probably a minor/major absorbtion, and a minor/major vigor).
One important thing to consider: I will be duo-ing with a necromancer who will be going N/Me.
Oh, if anyone else here likes to play W/N- How do you get the W/N to not feel like a N/W? I just find myself going Sever, Gash, Vamp Touch. It's easy, fun, but feels...odd for a warrior.

Blood renewal is okay up to about yaks bend, after that you take more dammage than blood renewal can heal up, heal signet I find more useful.

I reccomend 7-8 blood magic for vampric touch, no more. I tend to bring Vapmric Touch and Plague touch (Or as I call it, 'Return to sender') for necro skills, the rest to warrior. As for armour? I use Gladiator armour.
If you find yourself using the energy based attacks alot, you might want to use the elite 'Warrior's Endurance' which will work a treat for recharging your energy.

Vamp touch is too expensive and with such a rapid recharge rate, it won't help you much if at all...
Sword elites suck. When you look at the 2ndary elites, you'll see why they are better....
As a W/N, I'd say going Bloody Duelist using Life Transfer is the best bet.
For PvE, I'd definitely tweak just a few things:
Replace Galrath Slash with Life Siphon and let your combo be:
Sever, Gash, Seeking Blade, Final Thrust
Ditch Vampiric Touch for either Res Signet or Watch Yourself
Let Life Transfer {E} be your chosen elite vs. 100 blades.
For armor, I'd say have a nice mix including JUST ONE pair of gauntlets or boots from either Ascalon or Knight's Armor sets.
Then you'll get a nice dose of damage reduction as well as some good efficiency.

Knights boots - for global damage absorption
Helm to boost your weapon - sword probably
Gladiators everywhere else - for energy since you are casting spells
Get Virulence when you are able, works nicely with bleeding.
